Paros is the third largest island of the Cyclades and is best known for its marble and wine (white and red).
In the capital Parikia is the main attraction the church of the Holy Mother Katapoliani or in Greek called Ekatodapiliani (literally 100 doors). This impressive church consists of several buildings that are interconnected.
A very cozy harbor town on Paros is Naoussa.
Right next to Paros is the smaller island Anti-Paros accessible by boat. The only village on the island is Anti-Paros also called Kastro. And another attraction on Anti-Paros is the dripstone cave. Via a solid steel staircase with 1330 steps you can enter the cave (access forbidden for pregnant women and people with heart problems). The cave has both stalagmites and stalactites.
