- Nafplio: in 1828 Nafplio was the first capital of the Republic of Greece. When Greece became a kingdom in 1835 Athens has become the Greek capital. The old town is beautiful. In the harbor you can see the Bourtz . Above the town, on a high rock, is the Palamidi castle. Palamidi is accessible via two ways, running from the Odos Polizoidou and then 857 steps up or by car. The fortress was built by the Venetians between 1711 and 1714.
- Tiryns: excavation of an old ancient city built by mighty walls of record massive heavy boulders.
- Mycenae: in 1876, Heinrich Schliemann exposed the first parts of a mighty fortress. Whose entrance of the citadel, the Lion's Gate (circa 1250 BC.) is well known. The triangle above the port was the absolute highlight of the Mycenaean architecture. A relief of two lions, carved out of a rock. Support their paws on an altar. Between them is a pillar that symbolizes the palace. This seems like the lions guarding the palace. Behind the Lion Gate is a circle of graves, in which the "death mask of Agamemnon" is found. On the way to lies the Tomb of Atreus Mycenae. It is a beautiful specimen of a Mycenaean tomb dome, built around 1250 BC.
- Epidaurus: best known for the theater from the 3rd century BC. The acoustics is still very good. The remaining ruins of the Sanctuary of Epidaurus were once one of the most important spas of antiquity.
