Andros is the second largest island of the Cyclades.
The capital Chora with its typical white houses lies on a promontory between two sandy beaches. For the tip of the cape is a small island with ruins of an old Venetian fortress, which is connected to the cape through a stone arch bridge. Further in the sea stands on a small rocky point lighthouse.

- Gavrio : major port where the ferries arrive.
- Agios Petros : tower from the Hellenistic period.
- Batsi : very nice tourist resort.
- Apikia : mountain village with the springs of Sariza. The water bottled in the village.
- Ménites : lion head fountains.
- Stenies : 17th century tower house & Fabricca = > an old pasta factory with machines expire before the Second World War.
- Ormos Korthi : the beach Grias Pidima a piece of rock sticking up out of the sea. It is accessible on foot or by boat from the sea. According to a legend, the rock is a petrified woman. She would have helped the Turks in their raid on Andros. Of repentance, she jumped from the hills into the sea and petrified.
- Dipotamata: an impressive gorge which ends at Sineti.The path that leads through the gorge has on the route less than 22 ruins of mills.
- Pitrofos : olive museum .
